Who we are

Guardian is an Australian owned independant financial services firm that specialises in the identification, analysis and development of unique investment strategies that offer investors the definitive edge of asymetrical risk/return profiles dramatically skewed in their favour.

Our founders, in conjunction with one of Australia's leading mathematicians, have taken many years to develop the proprietary quantitative tools, optimisation matrices, and strategy calculation models that enable the comprehensive analysis required for the creation and management of such sophisticated investment strategies.

Our Investment Philosophy

We strongly believe that at the heart of every successful investment decision is the comprehensive analysis of all factors involved.  Such comprehensive analysis should enable the investor and investment manager alike to clearly assess and understand all of the potential risks and determine whether the potential rewards justify those risks.  Only then can a truly informed investment decision be made.

We understand that such comprehensive analysis takes time and acknowledge that it is our responsibility to invest the time necessary to ensure the identification of the optimal investment strategy for each unique situation prior to the promotion to potential investors.

We also ackowledge that, at times, no amount of analysis will identify an investment opportunity where the potential rewards sufficiently outweigh the inherent risks and that consequently the correct decision should be to wait or even do nothing.

We accept that we have an obligation to each investor to proactively manage those investment strategies that we have created and that such management not only involves optimising the profit from a successful investment, but mitigating the loss of an unsuccessful one.  When an investment strategy fails to live up to expectations 'hope is not a strategy' and it is reassuring to know that Guardian will be there to attempt to find a solution.
